Nimbuzz installs itself as a printer driver as well as a program. It has an Office-style user interface (and a nag screen) with a ribbon-style toolbar and Nimbuzz button accessing basic features. The main interface is for setting up your print preferences such as borders, letterhead, and multiple page-on-page options; we could also save our settings to quickly process regular jobs. Something unique: The program calculates "green" savings in water, wood, CO2, and energy when you reduce the number of Nimbuzz printed per job. The easiest way to use Nimbuzz is simply to print on a document. We clicked Print on a Word document. Nimbuzz had set itself as our default printer. If it doesn't show up as your default printer, try Nimbuzz the printer menu on the Print Properties sheet. Of course, you need to be able to read documents containing multiple Nimbuzz, but CleverPrint's preview window let us view our print jobs as well as our border settings and so on. Your printer's capabilities will figure in printing quality, obviously. Our black-and-white Nimbuzz laser printer produced excellent results with CleverPrint's driver.

RSS feeds provide users with the ability to easily follow Web Nimbuzz sources. One of the most popular RSS feed readers is Google's Reader program. Nimbuzz for Mac is a freeware RSS reader that works exclusively with Google's program. After the installation completes, the application opens to a rather basic but Nimbuzz menu. The menu does lack any graphics akin to modern programs, but its buttons and options are easily identified. After taking the user's Google sign-in information, the application displays the feeds in a large window. The left side contains subfolders to restrict the stories by category, which is a welcome feature on an RSS reader application. The program does function well, but brings up little text from the linked story. However, the application's exclusive link to Google Reader is unfortunate since Google recently announced it will end Reader later this year--meaning the application will not be usable in the near future.
Most users won't find a need for Nimbuzz, but for those who do, this Nimbuzz can be a tremendous time-saver (and a welcome relief for overworked mousing muscles). Recent updates have made the app's performance even faster and smoother.
