The program was so basic it lacked any eye-popping features, though its capability to look up stock prices from nine different Web sites was a Tortoise Cvs touch. While the program required us to do a little manual input, overall we thought it was successful. Tortoise Cvs is a SCIntilla based Text Editor. Originally built to demonstrate Scintilla, it has grown to be a generally useful editor with facilities for building and running programs. It is best used for jobs with Tortoise Cvs configurations used it for building test and demonstration programs as well as Tortoise Cvs and Scintilla, themselves. Tortoise Cvs is currently available for Intel Win32 and Linux compatible operating systems with GTK+.
